Solaro Capri Gin
Solaro Gin is born in Capri and entirely handmade in Italy: from the clay of the iconic handmade bottle to every handpicked local botanical that is distilled in a 4th generation distillery and made in batches of less than 1000 bottles; each of which take a week to make by Italian artisans.
Our main ingredient is hand picked lemon blossoms (Zagara) gathered from Capri’s highest mountain, the Monte Solaro; from which we also get our name.
We also use Myrtle (Mirto) berries from Sorrento which bring character, red juniper from Cilento is the other main botanical, Amalfi lemon peel and leaf extracts bring a gentle burst of citrus, and hand roasted Neapolitan coffee compose the smooth tasting gin.

About the refill:
Our aluminium refill bottle is available in a smaller 500ml size designed to top-up your precious ceramic vessel so that you can always make sure you have a bit of Capri any time you want.
Sustainability is our core value and we’re incredibly proud to share that even this fully recycled/recyclable bottle is also made in Italy 🇮🇹 just like everything we do with Solaro.
The result has been that we’ve kept carbon emissions to the absolute minimum both for shipping the bottles to our distillery as well as then getting them into your hands as they are lightweight.
Once finished, transform your refill into a head-turning water bottle for daily use. With the Solaro emblem emblazoned on it you'll be sure to get a few comments.
IMPORTANT! When empty it is essential you put your used aluminium bottle into the correct bin to ensure it re-enters the recycling loop and can be used again!
Just remember to Refill, Recycle, Repeat... ♻️
PLEASE NOTE: The gin contained in the refill is identical to the gin found in the ceramic bottle versions. Also, please note that this is a 500ml bottle, and smaller than our 700ml ceramic bottle.
